Police said an intoxicated man pulled a gun on family members, fired a single shot and stole his mother’s car.
The shot was reportedly fired around 10 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of Kammer Avenue, moments before the man stole the vehicle following an argument, according to a Dayton police report.
Police said the man was intoxicated and upset after getting into an argument with his girlfriend. When he returned home, he got into an argument with his sister or half-sister and son-in-law.
The man pulled out a gun and pointed it at the two before firing a single shot from a revolver, the report said.
He then tried to talk to his mother, who refused to talk with him because he was intoxicated, according to the report.
The man then allegedly stole his mother’s vehicle.
Police have not been able to locate the man or the vehicle that was stolen.
