A Darke County man was sentenced to seven years in prison for robbing an elderly woman of $2 she had hidden in a Bible.
Randy Hofacker was sentenced to seven years in prison after he was found guilty of robbing the woman. A jury found him guilty in March.
This will be Hofacker’s fifth time in prison. Authorities said in the last 10 years, he’s served time in prison four times for scamming the elderly.
