Man denies OVI, child endangering after Enon crash

A man denied charges that he was driving intoxicated when he was involved in a crash with his children on board.

John Bennett Jr., of Huber Heights was in a Clark county Municipal Court this morning on charges of child endangering and driving under the influence.

Bennett was driving a car when it crashed on Snider Road in Enon around 10 p.m. Sunday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Bennett pleaded not guilty to the charges and was booked into the Clark County Jail on $2,000 bond.

Court records show a breathalyzer test showed Bennett had a blood alcohol content of more than twice the legal limit.
