Counterfeit cash is showing up at area fast food restaurants, and Vandalia Police say the problem is growing.
Det. Robert Brazel said they’ve seen an increase in the businesses along National Road, and mostly at fast food restaurants. Businesses are being warned to be on high alert for fake money, and to safeguard against it, use the counterfeit pens than can detect it.
