Medics responded to Middletown Regional Airport today after a man in a tandem skydiving jump injured his ankle, according to the chief instructor of Start Skydiving.
Medics were dispatched to the scene after a report of a “hard landing” at 10:44 a.m.
John Hart, of Start Skydiving, told the Journal-News the man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The instructor was not injured in the accident, he said.
On Aug. 21, a Mason man died in a skydiving accident at the facility.
