The body of a man who had threatened suicide and was reported missing at Sugarcreek MetroPark has been found on park property, according to a spokesperson for Five Rivers Metroparks.
Officials said the man appeared to have died from an apparent suicide.
Park rangers have not yet released how the man was discovered.

According to Five Rivers Metroparks, the Sugarcreek Five Rivers MetroPark was closed again Thursday morning while a search resumed for a man whom had threatened suicide. The park reopened at 2 p.m. today.
Rangers searched the 600-acre park with cadaver dogs to help locate the man, but the search turned up nothing. Even after going off trail and searching a large section of the park, the man has not been located, officials said.
Family members told this news outlet they are still searching the park for their relative, who has not made contact since 9 p.m. July 5.
The park has reopened and will now maintain normal hours.
Park Rangers have said if anyone sees anything suspicious or knows anything to contact them with information.

The park reopened earlier this evening, according to police, but it’s not clear whether the man had been found.

The search for a man who has threatened to harm himself has been put on hold as the horses and dogs being used to search the large Sugarcreek Five Rivers MetroPark on Conference Road needed a break.
The animals became fatigued while searching the 600-acre park and authorities gathered at a shelter to determine the next move.
At the time heavy rains began to pour down, causing further strain on the resources.
Several law enforcement agencies are involved, including Springfield.
The park remains closed until further notice.
UPDATE @ 11:45 a.m. (July 6)
Officers on horseback and K-9 units are involved in a search for a man who has threatened suicide at the Sugarcreek Five Rivers MetroPark at 4178 Conference Road.
The park was evacuated this morning and it remains closed as the search continues for the man, whose identity has not been released.
Five Rivers MetroParks Police Chief Mark Hess said the park was closed in part because it’s unclear what the man is going to do. The man has threatened to commit suicide, Hess said.
Hess said the man’s truck was found parked in the 600-acre MetroPark.
FIRST REPORT
The Sugarcreek Metropark at 4178 Conference Road is closed as authorities search for a suicidal male.
A medical helicopter is being used to assist in the search for the subject and Five Rivers Metroparks officers are leading the investigation, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.
The subject had not been located by 11 a.m., more than two hours after authorities began the search.
