Nine-year-old McKenna Nation worried the cat stuck at the top of an electric pole outside her house might not make it down alive.
The feline spent at least 15 hours stuck, meowing at anyone on the ground.
The Kettering girl didn’t know its name or where it came from, but she wanted to help.
“He was stuck up there a long time,” McKenna said. “He didn’t have any food or water or shelter.”
McKenna said her mom spotted it around 9 p.m. last night. And the mother-daughter duo sought help and tried to coax the cat down, until it finally descended the pole around noon today.
It went right into McKenna’s arms, and she gave it a can of cat food.
