SPRINGFIELD — A woman was set on fire in Springfield Friday morning, and police are looking for the person responsible.
Police responded to the 300 block of Fair Street shortly after 11 a.m.
A 911 caller said he was across the street, looked over and saw the woman on fire. People used a blanket to put out the flames.
The woman was taken to a hospital.

The 911 caller said the woman’s face, arms, hands and back had been burnt.
