Scattered flurries, single-digit wind chills tonight; Next chance for snow arrives Thursday

TUESDAY: A few clouds around into the evening, still breezy and very cold. Temperatures will fall through the teens with wind chills near zero at times, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.

Overnight, clouds will return with lows near zero. Winds relax, but any breeze will create sub-zero chills.

WEDNESDAY: Bitter cold with wind chills below zero to start. Becoming cloudy and a little breezy with highs in the lower 20s. A few passing flurries or snow showers are possible late day into Wednesday night.

THURSDAY: Another storm will bring light snow showers with perhaps a wintry mix south. This storm has the potential to bring 1-3″ with the best chance southeast of Dayton. It will be a windy and cold day with highs in the upper 20s.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy, windy and cold with a few passing flurries. Highs in the lower 20s.

SATURDAY: A frigid morning on Saturday with temperatures in the single digits. Partly cloudy skies, a bit of a breeze and highs in the lower 20s.

SUNDAY: Clouds increase again with the chance of rain/snow into the evening. Temperatures will be a little closer to normal with highs in the middle 30s.
