Russell A. McMillan, 37, is being held at the Preble County Jail on the following charges: robbery/threat of force; assault; resisting arrest; resisting arrest/brandishing a deadly weapon; two counts of aggravated menacing;and robbery/deadly dangerous weapon.

EARLIER REPORT
Eaton police responded to two robberies within about three hours late Sunday and early Monday.
The Village Pantry, 124 South Barron Street, was robbed around 10:52 p.m. Sunday. A male entered the store, confronted an employee behind the counter, demanded money from the register and displayed a handgun, according to Eaton police.
The male suspect then fled the store on foot. No one was injured.
Around 2:50 a.m. today, a Speedway gas station was robbed and a suspect was taken into custody.
