Dayton Police and Fire were dispatched to the 100 block of Jackson Street at 3:06 a.m. on reports of a crash into a structure, Montgomery County Regional Dispatch informed.

When officers and firefighters arrived, they confirmed that a driver crashed their vehicle into a residential structure. No one was trapped following the crash.

There were no reported injuries and, therefore, no transports to a local hospital were made.

Furthermore, no one was arrested or taken into custody for the crash. The crash was not connected to an OVI-related incident.

Due to the evident damage to the structure, a maintenance crew was requested and scheduled for the morning. They would evaluate the structural integrity of the building and determine if the structure was still safe to inhabit.

The Dayton Police Department led the investigation into the crash.
