Vandalia-Butler City Schools have announced a new superintendent who will begin when the district’s superintendent retires this summer.
Rob O‘Leary will begin in his new role August 1. He currently serves as assistant superintendent for the district.
"I have worked in the district as a teacher, building principal, and central office administrator for 13 of my 18 years in the field and have come to love this community, O’Leary said.
O’Leary, a University of Dayton graduate, also received a Master of Science in teaching from Wright State University.
“It is truly a community that takes great pride in its schools and in being a great place to live, work, learn, and play!"
