DAYTON — UPDATE @ 11:06 a.m.:
Various crashes shut down parts of U.S. 35 for over an hour Tuesday morning.
Dayton Police and medics were dispatched to U.S. 35 on the report of a crash involving a school bus near Keowee Street around 7:13 a.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

A spokesperson for Dayton Police clarified later Tuesday morning that a school bus was not involved in the crash near Keowee Street or any of the various crashes that were reported on U.S. 35 this morning.
Police were called out to U.S. 35 for a four-vehicle crash near Keowee Street.
“A bus was not involved in a crash, but did run over debris from a crash,” the spokesperson said.
The crash caused all three lanes are shut down on eastbound U.S. 35., but they have since reopened.

Police noted that the various crashes reported Tuesday morning shut down different areas and lanes for approximately 90 minutes.
“With all of the crashes, there were two people taken to the hospital with minor injuries,” the spokesperson said.
