News Center 7′s John Bedell becomes a ‘Twosday’ parent; second son born on 2-22-22

MIAMI VALLEY — UPDATE

News Center 7′s own John Bedell joined a small group of ‘Twosday’ parents earlier this week, welcoming his second son on 2-22-22.

Baby Bedell made his way into the world 13 days ahead of a scheduled c-section.

Bedell will spend the next few weeks on paternity leave.

In John’s words, “I guess he wanted an extra cool birthday!” Already taking after his father, making the news.

Babies born on “Twosday” at both Miami Valley Hospital and Miami Valley South are receiving special onesies to mark the special day.

Today’s date, Tuesday, 2/22/22, is a palindrome, meaning it reads the same forward and backward.

Premier Health shared photos of some of the babies born on Tuesday, showcasing the commemorative blue onesies which say “Born on Twosday.”

The hospital network said they welcomed a set of twins on “Twosday.”

A couple in Cincinnati took the theme one step further and gave birth to a baby boy at 2:22 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, according to our CNN affiliate WLWT. Baby Simon Thomas was even born in labor and delivery room No. 2 at TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital.
