PREBLE COUNTY — A man and woman are facing felony drug charges after Preble County Sheriff’s deputies discovered a methamphetamine lab on U.S. 35 East.

Kevin Bailey, 33, and Michelle Grubbs, 38, both of Preble County, are facing the following charges:
On Nov. 25, a deputy responded to a vacant trailer on U.S. 35 East outside West Alexandria for a trespassing complaint.
- Illegal manufacturing on drugs
- Illegal assembly or possession of chemical for the manufacture of drugs
- Theft
- Possessing drug abuse instruments
- Criminal trespass
They are being held in the Preble County Jail, according to the sheriff’s office.
Grubbs reportedly has a prior conviction for illegal manufacturing of drugs and other drug-related offenses.

The deputy found Bailey and Grubbs inside the trailer and took them into custody.
The owner of the property confirmed that neither have permission to be inside the trailer.
While checking for more people, the deputy reportedly found materials used to make meth.
Investigators also found drug paraphernalia during a search of the trailer.
