Left lane of NB I-675 in Beavercreek reopens after trash truck fire

UPDATE @ 3:15 p.m. 

Crews have reopened the left lane of northbound Interstate 675 but continue to block the center and right lanes after a trash truck caught fire Tuesday afternoon.

FIRST REPORT

All lanes of northbound Interstate 675 are shut down north of Indian Ripple Road in Beavercreek due to a trash truck that caught fire Tuesday.

Crews responded to the interstate around 2 p.m. and initially blocked just the right and center lanes, but have now completely blocked the highway as the fire continues to burn.

Our crew on the scene reports cars stopped in the backup are being turned around to Indian Ripple Road.

There have been no initial reports of injuries.
