Trotwood library to hold book drive for children in Africa

TROTWOOD — The Trotwood branch of the Dayton Metro Library will be hosting a book drive for students in Liberia, Africa.

Donations can be brought to the library from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. December 10, and dropped off at a U-Haul Truck stationed in the parking lot, according to Founder and CEO Veleta Jenkins.

Items needed include gently used or new K-9 early learner books, academic workbooks, all types of school supplies, teacher materials, educational games, water bottles, lunch bags, and book bags.

Jenkins adds that there will be refreshments served in the library community room.
