The boil advisory that was in affect in Trotwood has been lifted.
Officials said the water has been tested and is safe for consumption.
UPDATE @ 5:54 p.m.: A boil advisory alert now has been issued for Trotwood residents in the area of the water main repair on West Main Street.
You are advised to boil your water at least three minutes when using for oral hygiene or consumption, according the city public works department.
The advisory affects residents in the area of West Main at the bridge to Oak Street.
The advisory remains in effect until further notice.
INITIAL REPORT
Residents in the vicinity of a Trotwood water main repair project that began Monday on West Main Street, between End and High streets, may experience low water pressure.
Traffic will be re-routed because of that project but there is no boil advisory at this time, Eric Baxter, operations manager of the city’s public works department, said in a prepared statement.
