ier stretch of the day is expected through the afternoon before the chance for rain returns later tonight, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Dontae Jones said.

By the early afternoon, rain from this morning will have moved out of the area, bringing some breezy conditions and partly cloudy skies.

Highs in the afternoon will be in the lower to middle 80s.

Tonight some more showers move through but skies will clear by Friday morning.

FRIDAY: Clear and cooler morning in the upper 50s. Sunny skies through the day with highs in the upper 70s. It will be cool and clear going into the night.

SATURDAY: The weekend will start out chilly in the low 50s and upper 40s with afternoon highs reaching the upper 70s. Sunny skies expected all day.

SUNDAY: We will have another great day. Highs will be in the low 80s with sunshine and partly cloudy skies.

MONDAY: The workweek will start out with a mild morning in the low 60s. Highs will be around 80. We will stay dry most of the day with sun and clouds. A passing shower or two could arrive at night especially towards the west.
