Starr residents help improve pedestrian safety in Richmond

The painting project is also said to improve pedestrian safety at the intersection of 19th and North C. Street.

Wallace’s design will celebrate Richmond and Starr’s jazz history, according to a release.

Richmond residents are welcome to participate in the event.

Painting will start at 10:00 a.m. and go until 6:30 p.m. tonight.

The project is part of a series of recent investments in the Starr Neighborhood that build upon past successes in improving the aesthetics of the neighborhood.

This project was made possible by a grant from the Urban Enterprise Association (UEA).
