Some Fairborn residents needn’t pay utility bill twice, city says

FAIRBORN — Fairborn city residents living in the city’s “District 2” who get a water and sewer bill need only pay that bill once, according to a statement from the city’s utility division released Monday afternoon.

Residents were inadvertently sent a duplicate bill in the most recent cycle and the city has apologized for the confusion.

Utility division officials are aware of the double billing and have already corrected things on their end, according to the statement.

The city runs its own water and sewer utility and divides the city into three “districts” for billing purposes.
