DAYTON — UPDATE @ 6:19 a.m.:
A man who was reported to have been shot near Rosa Parks Early Learning Center refused to go to the hospital Saturday night, according to a police report.
The man reported he heard a loud pop and felt pain in his neck around 10:45 p.m. and called his sister, who then called 911 to report a shooting.

The victim had a small dot with a few drops of blood on it, the report said.
The injury could have come from a small diameter projectile the size of a BB or pellet, the report said.
The suspect was uncooperative and eventually walked away from the scene.

A shooting has been reported on Lori Sue Avenue in Dayton this evening.
The shooting was reported in the 3700 block of Lori Sue near the Rosa Parks Early Learning Center, according to initial reports.
Medics were called to the scene around 10:45 p.m.
A woman called 911 to report her brother had been shot near the school and had a wound to his neck, according to a 911 call obtained by this news organization.
