MADISON TWP., Butler County — A man who was hit by a truck and died on state Route 4 in northern Butler County early Saturday morning has been identified as a Dayton man.

Tommy J. Johnson, 44, of Dayton, was identified as the victim in the crash, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
The crash was reported on state Route 4 at Keister Road in Madison Twp. around 2:15 a.m. Saturday. Deputies said Johnson walked into the path of a truck that was traveling north, was hit, and pronounced dead at the scene.
Additional details were not released.
