Shelby County’s ‘Clear the Shelters for the Holidays’ ends Monday

"Clear the Shelter for the Holidays" adoption event, hosted by S.C.A.R.F. (Shelby County Animal Resource Foundation) will end Monday, Dec. 31, according to News Center 7's Northern Bureau Chief Steve Baker.

All approved dog adoptions are $18, which include a new dog license.

All approved cat adoptions are $5.

The Shelby County Animal Shelter, 1100 Clem Road, is open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and closed on Sunday.
