CLAYTON — The right lane of westbound Interstate 70 is shut down near Crestway Road after a semi-truck trailer caught fire overnight in Clayton.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to the scene just after 2:00 a.m., according to OSHP dispatch.

Dispatch confirmed to us that no one was hurt.

News Center 7 Kayla McDermott spoke with troopers on scene, and they told her the semi-truck was a car carrier- with multiple cars loaded onto its trailer.

Our crews counted at least six cars on the carrier, and each of them was damaged.

The right lane will remain closed until crews can get each car off the trailer.
