Roofing truck pulls down wires, utility pole at Fairborn church

FAIRBORN — Utility and fire crews have responded after a truck hauling roofing shingles knocked down power lines and a utility pole on Montgomery Avenue in Fairborn Monday.

Fire crews were requested to the area of Montgomery Avenue near Kauffman Avenue around 11:20 a.m. Monday on initial reports of utility lines down on a car, according to emergency scanner traffic.

The crane of a roofing truck became entangled in power lines in the parking lot of a church on Montgomery Avenue, according to our crew on the scene. A utility pole also fell during the incident and is on top of two cars.
