RIVERSIDE — A robbery at Check-into-Cash in Riverside happened within an hour and a half of a Trotwood robbery at a similar cash advance business.
Riverside police were dispatched at 12:40 p.m. today to 170 Woodman Drive.
Unlike the Trotwood robbery, reported at 11:10 at 4791 Salem Ave., the suspect in Riverside did not show a gun, police said.

The suspect, only identified as a man, entered Check-into-Cash with a bag and demanded money from the employees, Riverside police said.
The suspect was able to get away, according to investigators.
Riverside police said it was not certain whether the robberies were connected.
