WAYNE COUNTY, Indiana — A teenager from Richmond died from his injuries after a crash in Wayne County, Indiana early Saturday morning.

Terrance Gillard, 17, of Richmond was identified as a passenger in the car who was killed, according to Wayne County Sheriff Randy Retter.
Emergency units were called to reports of a rollover crash in the 2700 block of state Route 121. east of Garr Road, around 3 a.m. Saturday.
An initial investigation found the car went off the side of the road, rolled multiple times, and hit two parked cars parked in a driveway, Retter said. Both Gillard and the driver, identified as Korion Farris, 19, of Richmond were ejected from the car in the crash.
Both were transported to Reid Hospital in Richmond with Gillard later flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis were he later died from his injuries.
Farris’ condition was not released.
Deputies are still investigating the crash including determining what might have caused the car to go off the roadway, Retter said. Alcohol or drug impairment have not been ruled out as possible contributing factors.
Additional details were not released.
