1 killed, another injured in shooting at Harrison Twp. business

One man is dead and another suffered life-threatening injuries after a shooting Saturday at the Salem Beverage Market.

Anthony Choice, 27, of Dayton, was pronounced dead after he was taken to Grandview Medical Center, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Investigators learned the two victims were customers who fired shots at each other inside the business, the release stated.

A 36-year-old man is in serious condition at Miami Valley Hospital, deputies said in a media release. His name has not been released.

Deputies found the men suffering from gunshot wounds around 11 p.m. at the Salem Beverage Market, 3440 Salem Ave., in Harrison Twp.

It’s not known whether they knew each other.

One man was found inside the business, and the other was found in the parking lot several feet from the front door.

The investigation is continuing as investigators seek several witnesses who left before police arrived.
