Large fight at Trotwood-Madison High School prompts lockdown, police response

TROTWOOD — A large fight prompted a police response to Trotwood-Madison High School Monday morning, according to dispatch records.

Officers were requested to the school around 7:45 a.m. after the fight was reported, according to initial reports.

The school was placed on lockdown while the incident was resolved, Trotwood schools Superintendent Tyrone Olverson said in a statement posted to social media.

“The high school was on a soft lockdown this morning due to weekend community conflict. Non-custodial students were trespassing on school property and have been arrested.,” Olverson said in the statement, posted to Twitter and Facebook.

No injuries were reported.
