Firefighters were dispatched to the area of Philadelphia Drive and Oxford Avenue around 10 a.m. and reported smoke and flames were coming from the house.

Investigators said the house was vacant at the time the blaze broke out, and the cause is still under investigation. However, investigators said arson has not been ruled out as a possible cause.

Firefighters initially started to battle the blaze from the inside, however commanding units ordered firefighters out of the house so it could be battled defensively from the outside of the structure, scanner traffic indicates.

No injuries were reported. Additional details were not released.
