DAYTON — Dayton police are investigating after a man reported that a television fell on a toddler today.
Police and medics were called to a home in the 400 block of South Euclid around noon after the man said a television fell on his 2-month-old daughter.
“The TV fell on my daughter,” the man told 911 dispatchers. “She’s crying. It’s just a small TV, but she kind of fainted a little bit.”
Officers were on the scene at the home, but have now moved to Dayton Children’s Hospital to continue their investigation, according to dispatch records.
It’s unclear how serious the toddler’s injuries are or if there is any foul play suspected.
