Dayton police ID UDF robbery suspects

UPDATE @ 3:30 p.m.

The two people who were arrested as part of an investigation into a robbery at the UDF at Riverside Drive and Wampler Avenue share the same last name.
Chase Martin, 19, and Paige Martin, 21, are being held in the Montgomery County Jail.

According to the Dayton police report, the Martins were arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery.

UPDATE @ 4:16 a.m. 

Two suspects are in custody in connection with a United Dairy Farmers robbery near Riverside Drive and Wampler Avenue early Wednesday.

The suspects were taken into custody after a traffic stop by Five Rivers Metro Parks rangers. Two other people were inside the vehicle.

“It’s great team work you have from Dayton Metro Parks and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department,” said Dayton Police Sgt. Jeffery Spires.

Two males walked into UDF and demanded employees give them all the cash in the registers, according to Dayton police.

The suspects indicated they had a weapon, according to police.

“They left with the money and some cigarettes,” Spires said.

UPDATE @ 2:55 a.m. 

Four people have reportedly been detained in the area of Riverside Drive and Wampler Avenue who are believed to be suspects in the UDF robbery in Dayton, according to police scanner traffic.

Initial reports indicate a vehicle was stopped near that intersection with two men and two women taken into custody.

Ski masks were reportedly located inside the vehicle.

Police are responding to reports of a robbery at the United Dairy Farmers at North Dixie Drive and Siebenthaler Avenue.

Around 2:20 a.m., two males wearing green Halloween masks reportedly robbed the store.
