FAIRBORN — A tactical response team and police from multiple agencies responded to the area of Madison Avenue for a reported domestic violence situation late Wednesday night and ended with a man in custody.

Initial reports indicated that officers from Fairborn, Huber Heights and Riverside were dispatched around 11:30 p.m. to the 30 block of Madison Avenue in Fairborn after a woman reported reported she was held against their will by a gunman.

The victim called police from a neighboring residence, officers said.
Following the brief standoff, the man was taken into custody, according to police. It’s unclear whether any charges are being filed in the case.
