PIQUA — A Piqua man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to two felony indictments for rape.
Justin Griffin, 28, was indicted by a Miami County grand jury for the alleged sexual conduct in January and February in Piqua with an adult who was physically or mentally impaired.

Griffin pleaded not guilty in Miami County Common Pleas Court, where a pretrial hearing was scheduled for July 23. Assistant Prosecutor Janna Parker opposed his release on a recognizance bond, citing the nature of the offenses alleged.
Bail was set at $15,000 cash or surety by Judge Christopher Gee.
