13 people in consideration for Bellbrook school board vacancy

BELLBROOK — The Bellbrook school board will consider the applications of 13 people for the vacancy left following the resignation of a longtime board member last month.

Kathy Kingston, who is a retired district teacher, served on the Board of Education for more than 13 years.  Kingston resigned late last month for health reasons.

A list of possible replacement board members was obtained by this news organization through a public records request.  Two of the applicants ran for school board in November.

The district has special meetings scheduled Monday and Tuesday evening at 5:15 p.m., where the school board will meet in executive session to consider the appointment of a public official.
