FRANKLIN — A pedestrian struck by a pickup truck Thursday evening in front of AutoZone is at fault, police said.
Robert Wells, 32, of Franklin, was crossing Second Street, north toward Sunoco gas station, when he was struck in the roadway in front of the auto parts store, 1000 E. Second St. The driver of a Dodge 1500, 23-year-old James Black of Franklin, turned east and struck Wells in the center turn lane, police said.

Wells was taken to Atrium Medical Center in Middletown to be treated for injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
There were no damages to Black’s truck.
Franklin police said Wells was found to be at fault, but that he has not been cited.
