Over 50 planters filled by Upper Valley Career Center students in Piqua

PIQUA — Students at the Upper Valley Career Center spent the day filling planters in downtown Piqua Tuesday.

Over 50 planters were filled by students from the Landscape Management Program.

The organization called “Main Street Piqua” has a lot of activities planned in downtown for the summer.

The weekly Farmer’s Market is set to begin a week from Thursday.

May groups and organizations are signed up to bring their fresh fruits, homemade baked goods and produce for sale throughout the summer to the public.
