Obi Toppin helps lead basketball camp for kids in Dayton

DAYTON — Obi Toppin, former University of Dayton Men’s Basketball player came to Dayton to help lead a basketball camp for nearly 150 kids Tuesday.

Toppin currently plays for the New York Knicks and is in town to help campers in grades 1 through 12.

Campers will experience various stations specializing in the fundamental skills of basketball, stated a news release from organizers.

Other area prep and college basketball coaches will also be there to lead the camp.

The camp will take place at Bales Arena on Research Park Drive.
