Northbound I-75 to westbound I-70 flyover ramp re-opens after semi overturns

BUTLER TWP. — UPDATE @ 3:18 p.m. 

The ramp from NB I-75 to WB I-70 has re-opened. According to authorities speed was a major factor in the semi overturning.

UPDATE @ 2:02 p.m.:

Two vehicles collided on I-70 east, but are now on the side of the road.

A second crash has been reported in the I-70/I-75 flyover area.

It is not known if there are any injuries.

INITIAL REPORT:

The flyover ramp from northbound I-75 to westbound I-70 is closed after a semi overturned.

The crash was reported just after 12:30 p.m.

Firefighters said the driver of the semitrailer was not injured.

It was not immediately known what the semi was hauling or how long crews believe the ramp will be blocked.
