DAYTON — A Dayton police officer was injured after a car crashed into the officer’s cruiser while he was on the scene of a crash Wednesday night, according to initial reports.
The crash was reported on northbound I-75 near Stanley Avenue around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The officer was responding to a crash involving a semitrailer involving when the cruiser was rear-ended, according to dispatchers.
The officer was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with minor injuries. The condition of the other driver was not immediately known.
