According to police Barton has been found safe and returned to his family. The alert is now canceled.
INITIAL REPORT:
Huber Heights Police Department has issued a missing adult alert for Walter Barton of Riverside.
Barton suffers from memory loss with other health issues and law enforcement is concerned for his safety.
Barton is 89 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds with white hair and gray eyes.

Sunday at 11 a.m. Barton drove away from his residence and failed to return, according to police. Barton’s vehicle is a black 2002 GMC Envoy with the Ohio plate number EX06HW.
