Drone Video: Mercer Co. farmers work to rescue nearly 400 cows from flattened barn

FIRST REPORT

The cattle barn near Padua was flatted by strong winds after a 200-yard wide, EF1 tornado passed through the county Sunday afternoon.

More than 40 neighboring farmers are helping one Mercer County family rescue nearly 400 cows from a barn near the Ohio/Indiana state line.

As many as 30 of the 400 cows are dead, according to our crew at the scene.

The barn's owner said the large structure built last year is a complete loss.
