XENIA — A driver was speeding and swerved to avoid hitting a deer, sending the car into a sign and tree early Monday morning.
The crash happened near James Park Ranch in the 170 block of Fairground Road in Xenia around 12 a.m.

The driver was not injured.
Fairground Road was closed while crews worked to clear the crash.
The scene has since cleared.
