SPRINGFIELD — Regional dispatch confirms that crews are on scene of an incident where a man was reportedly struck by a tractor-trailer.
Initial scanner traffic indicated that the incident happened on the 600 block of Benjamin Street Sunday evening.
Scanner traffic also indicated that the victim was taken to a local hospital, where CareFlight was reported to have been called.
The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
The scene is still under investigation.
