Man accused of raping woman at knifepoint in Kettering apartment

A Dayton man is facing felony charges after he was accused of raping a woman inside a Kettering apartment while threatening her with a knife, according to court records.

Jamone Henderson Jr., 20, is charged with two counts of rape and aggravated burglary, and single counts of kidnapping and tampering with evidence, court records show.

According to records, Henderson is accused of entering the woman’s home on South Kettering Square Drive “without her consent or knowledge and forced her to have sex with him by threat of harm with a knife that he held to her throat and back.”

Henderson pleaded not guilty to the charges in the case in Kettering Municipal Court. He remained in jail Wednesday morning on a $500,000 bond, records show.

The crime was reported to have happened Sunday, and Henderson was arrested Tuesday.
