MONROE TWP., Miami County — A mailbox was reportedly blown up on Neal Pearson Road Monday afternoon and sheriff’s deputies are investigating.
Deputies responded to the home in the 3100 block after receiving a report that someone used an explosive to blow up the mailbox.

Deputies did not say whether any arrests have been made.
“Part of the explosive was still at the scene and was collected as evidence,” deputies wrote in a report.
The incident was reported around 5 p.m.
