MIAMISBURG — A portion of Lower Miamisburg Road has been shut down for months because of severe damage, Miamisburg officials said.
The road, which was shut down in the spring, is on a significant hillside.

The road became undriveable due roadway slip and failure caused by water getting underneath the road surface.
Since the road was shut down, the city has been working on engineering for the project, which should wrap up by late September

The city will reportedly spend the last few months of the year stabilizing the hillside.
Repaving will then take place once the weather warms up in the spring.
