MIAMI VALLEY — Local schools are working to determine their mask requirements for the upcoming school year after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said fully vaccinated students and teachers do not have to wear masks at school this fall.
Most schools that News Center 7 reached out to said the would be using a flexible approach when it comes to wearing masks.
Kettering City Schools and Huber Heights City Schools said students and teachers will not be required to wear masks in the fall. Both school districts said the choice to wear a mask in school buildings will be up to the students and their parents.
