A lightning strike sparked a fire at a Springboro home Wednesday morning, causing an estimated $15,000 to $20,000 in damages.
The fire was reported around 6:45 a.m. in the 100 block of Thomas Drive.

The fire caused damage to the home’s roof and front of the house.
Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said there was heavy lightning in the area at the time the fire was dispatched.
No one was injured.
